How to acknowledge ecological grief, unlock your vitality and practice everyday activism (without becoming a buzzkill or getting arrested.)
Inspired by Active Hope and small group work implementing the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects, we’ll aim to build customized personal toolkits to resource ourselves for uncertain and troubling times. We’ll explore everyday, accessible and unexpected practices, that allow planet lovers, shy radicals and plant whisperers to “face the mess we’re in with unexpected resilience and creative power.” We’ll explore the roles of grief, poetry, ceremony, circles, journaling, designed conversations, hospicing and celebration, and make space for the questions: what is my role to play in the Great Turning, can it be joyful and life-affirming, and why are herbalists so vital to the work?
